How do I change flight reservations?
Because many of our airfares are discounted, particularly
for economy/coach class most do not permit itinerary
changes. Details for your specific flights and rules
for your reservations will be on your itinerary.
If your flight reservations permit changes, you must:
Contact us before your flight’s originally scheduled
departure to change your reservation. Other restrictions
may apply; there will be a penalty to process the
change in addition to the issuing carrier fees, which
will vary by market, travel dates and specific airlines
rules.
When can I expect my paper tickets
to be delivered?
If your paper tickets are being delivered to a non-PO
Box address, you should receive them within 5 business
days of the date that you finalized your reservation.
If you do not receive them within that time frame,
please contact our office. Remember your tickets can
only be sent to your credit card billing address.
Why do paper tickets have to be
sent to my billing address?
For your security, we will only send your tickets
to your billing address. This helps minimize the risk
of credit card fraud.
When and how will I receive confirmation
of my reservation?
Once you have booked a travel reservation, a confirmation
e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address you provided
to us. In order to confirm receipt of your confirmation
e-mail, please check all of your inboxes, including
your “junk mail” inbox, in the event your
e-mail system inadvertently routed the e-mail confirmation
there.
What about Around the World Tickets?
The maximum stay on our Around the World and Circle
the Pacific airline tickets is one year. It's up to
you to decide how much or how little time to spend
in any one place along the way.
After purchase, changes to the routing of the trip
are not permitted, but after departure, it is possible
to change the travel dates at any time as long as
seats are available for the new travel dates. We recommend
that you spend quality time with your itinerary before
purchasing a ticket, just in case you are not able
to change your reservations at the last minute. Taxes
are always additional, depending on which countries
you will visit.
The sample prices on our web site are for departures
in the low season, which are not the months of June,
July, August or December. Customized itineraries are
always possible, but pricing will never be as low
as on our beaten path itineraries. Tickets are nonrefundable.
Cancellation insurance is highly recommended.
We recommend a 30-day advance purchase, but quite
obviously, the least expensive itineraries do sell
out well in advance, in particular on itineraries
with stops in India or Nepal. There is no advance
purchase when the first stop is in Europe or East
Asia. We do our best for last minute departures, but
don't be surprised if our least expensive itineraries
are sold out well in advance. To purchase tickets,
we need all passenger names as they appear in the
passports, the preferred dates of travel on all segments
of the itinerary, and a signed credit card authorization
form. |
